CHILLY? YES BUT OTHERWISE NICE!

Strong high pressure anchored in Southern Canada the next several days will continue to feed a fresh supply of chilly air over Western New York. The airmass will be dry so even though it will cross the warmer lakes, not much if any showers or flakes will fall now through the weekend. We will have to pay attention closely to a developing storm system along the Jersey coast on Saturday. I'm pretty confident that the low will move far enough off the coast so as not to affect our weather over the upcoming weekend. Famous last words, right? Cold air the next several nights with many towns falling below 30 degrees...stay warm!
