COOL IS THE STATUS QUO
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
Hoping for that last shot of above-average air? Doesn't look like it'll be coming for at least the next seven days (if at all!) A series of reinforcing low pressure systems will drive cooler air into the northeast after they pass to our east by the middle of next week.
Until that point, our weather really isn't too shabby. Isolated breaks of sun can be expected Monday and early Tuesday, although truly "good" weather won't be the case. Temps hold on to the lower 60s through Tuesday. On the plus side, the cooler weather should really help the fall foliage come to life over the next few weeks, as we enter our peak season in the coming weeks.
