FIRST SNOW TONIGHT IN THE SOUTHERN TIER

Written By: Scott Hetsko

A series of storms will track through the mid Atlantic states the next 48 hours. Occasional snow will fall tonight and Friday along the Southern Tier counties where Winter weather advisories are up through tomorrow. It won't be a lot of snow but just enough to cause slick roads overnight in towns like Hornell, Bath and Wellsville. Dansville may see a slushy inch or so. Rochester won't see anything other than a few flurries or sprinkles.

  1. Too soon for snow for NY!! Escaping here this weekend to hopefully still see some fall foliage. Can you tell me about further north? Cruising to Maine, Halifax, Quebec City; and next week 10/26 Sydney, Nova Scotia?

  2. I think early week will be stormy along the North Atlantic coast but improving after Tuesday. Have fun!
