A SNOWY START SOUTH TODAY!

Written By: Scott Hetsko

If you live or work 25 miles South of the city, you probably saw a lot of white on the ground this morning. Wet, sticky snow fell most of the night across the Southern Finger Lakes and Southern Tier counties. Reports range from 5.5" in Wellsville, near the Pennsylvania border, to about an inch further North near Geneseo. This is the best kind of snow because it sticks mostly to the grass and trees, not the roadways! A little more snow will fall Friday night and Saturday South of Route 20.
