SUN'S HERE, JUST WAITING ON SOME WARMTH
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
A nice ridge of high pressure is built in from the Gulf coast right up the Mississippi and influencing our area, as seen by the sunshine over our heads today. This evening we reside on the cold (east) side of the high, with a north wind still feeding the cool air in. However, by tomorrow, winds will become more southwesterly, bumping temperatures up into a much more comfortable mid-upper 50s range. Sunshine will still be plentiful as well.
Not quite as beautiful into the middle of the week as more clouds are expected Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will stay locked in the near-60 range however.
Eyes on a late week storm that could arrive Friday night. Early forecast data suggests decent winds, plenty of rain, and storms as well by early next weekend. Stay tuned...
