COLD THIS WEEK, WARMER THIS WEEKEND

Written by: Brian Neudorff

Now that you've grabbed that jacket and coat, and possibly the gloves you'll want to keep them around as we finish out the week. Cold air will remain in place now until Friday. While the cold air is in place, a storm system will spread moisture and precipitation which could produce areas of a wintry mix and maybe some could get a snow shower. Don't expect accumulations but if there is any then it should be light and not much of a problem. Stay tuned we all know even the best forecasts can change.

Once we get past this storm Thursday into early Friday we start to dry out. Sunshine returns to end the week but it will remain chilly. The pattern changes as we head into the weekend. We will warm up back into the 50s, enjoy mostly sunny skies. As of now it looks like we could reach the 60s by the beginning of next week. So if the next few days get you down, as you think winter is right around the corner. Hopefully the weekend and next week will help lift those spirits.
