COULD GET NASTY AFTER THANKSGIVING

Written by: Brian Neudorff

For many the Thanksgiving holiday is a short week with travel concerns heading to your destination, but it looks like the main weather concerns are not for going but for coming back home after your Thanksgiving visit. It appears that a storm system will begin to develop and take shape on Friday after Thanksgiving along the east coast of the United States. As this storm get strong and more developed colder air, some of the coldest we've seen this season, will begin to spill into the eastern Great Lakes. This could mean a white Black Friday and weekend that follows.

If the snow wasn't enough of a concern for those days winds could become strong with gusts 30 to 40 mph. So now you would have cold, snow and wind. Keep in mind we are several days out. I am confident there will be a storm developing and having an impact on our weather after Thanksgiving, but just how bad is yet to be seen.

On a more personal note I hope the storm is not to bad or snowy. I will be moving from the place we current live to another place in the complex my family and I live. Trust me I would rather not be moving my belongings in cold, wind and snow. I've done it before and it is not fun. In fact, it seems like every time I move there is always some storm or snow causing me problems.

Stay tuned, you can trust we will keep you updated as the forecast becomes clearer as we go into Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
