RAIN BARELY THERE MONDAY
Written by: Bob Metcalfe
It's a close call as far as the rain goes Monday. A weak storm well off the northeast coastline will meander a bit more north, bringing showers through the Virginias and the I-95 corridor. Not a substantial amount of rain, but something interesting nonetheless.
The question is, will any of western New York see precip? As the graphic shows, we're darn close to it. Based on what I've seen today, with high pressure struggling to get the sky cleared substantially during the day, I'd say that some rain will make its way into our Southern Tier/Finger Lakes areas late Monday. Passing showers is how I would term this occurrence.
Temperatures will be fairly decent to start the week though, with a high just over 50 for most.
