LAKE SNOW WEST OF ROCHESTER
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Rochester will end November without recording measurable snowfall for the first time since 1952! It looks like December will be different. A strong upper level low will travel across Southern Ontario early Tuesday morning. Cold air across Lake Erie will result in about 6-8 hours of lake effect snow to fall West of Rochester overnight into Tuesday morning.
If you're heading West along I-90, expect accumulating snow on the roads once you approach Batavia and exits West. Allow for extra time driving in the morning. For Monroe County not much will fall other than snow showers. There may be up to an inch or so from Brockport Westward.
