THE SPOILS CONTINUE!

Written by: Bob Metcalfe

You've gotta love sunny days in November. High pressure has protected us from the Ida remnants that have battered the east coast. We've been on the chillier side though (with this morning's low dipping to 21 degrees!), but the warmth will only increase from here.

The picture above shows the setup on Saturday. A very weak, moisture-starved storm will swing by to our north. As you can see, mild air presses in via a southwest wind, which will allow for a few degree increase in highs, with most of us ending up in the mid to upper 50s, near 60 on Sunday. As of now, we don't think that rain has a great chance of making an appearance on a radar near you; high pressure will fight against this low, and again that dry air will help disperse and focused points of moisture. If it does manage to rain, it'll be a passing sprinkle. I'd say this will shape up to be a pretty good November weekend, with more clouds in the sky.
