PICKING UP WHERE THE WEEKEND LEFT OFF

Written by: Brian Neudorff

Q-U-I-E-T That's our weather the next few days. Sunshine will continue, we're picking up right where the weekend left off. I love it, and like Bob, I too have spring fever. Expect mild temperatures with highs in the mid 40s. Lows won't be too bad as they fall into the low 30s to upper 20s.

We are still watching the storm in the nation's mid-section. It will take it's time getting here. The first impacts will be from warmer air and clouds Wednesday night and possible scattered showers on Thursday. High temperatures could rise into the upper 40s to near 50 with this wave of warmer air. This will also keep precipitation as mainly rain. Looking at the GFS it still looks wet for the weekend. That's not cool as many of us from News 8 will be walking the St. Patrick's Day Parade. I'm hoping I won't need to find a green umbrella.

  1. I think that we are finally done with winter! We may see a flurry or two as it is only March but long range is looking very tasty!!! Time to dust off the grills and get ready for Spring!!!

  2. It wouldbe nice to see 100 inches for the year, but normally if you do not see a big storm by early March you are out of the woods. I think we are done with BIG snow. That is my gut feeling.
