LOOK AHEAD TO A BRAND NEW WEEK

Written by: Brian Neudorff

A couple areas of high pressure along with an upper level ridge will keep the new week fairly quiet and rain free. Most days will feature near to above normal temperatures with chilly nights. Some places, especially the valleys to the south, could see a couple of morning with frost.

A warm front will work in Monday night into Tuesday from the Ohio Valley. This may spark a few scattered showers other than that the start of the week looks great. High temperatures into the 60s return by Wednesday. The next real chance for any precipitation looks to arrive by Thursday night into Friday and Saturday with a few showers associated with a slow moving cold front that return temperatures back into the 50s for the weekend.

  1. Brian,
What does 0c at 850mb equate to at the boundary layer this time of year?

  2. Nothing too cold, We will have that tonight and part of tomorrow but with a much higher sun angle, more daylight hours we will still see temperatures mid to upper 50s. It's at night when temperatures can fall to near the freezing mark. -Brian
