SATURDAY BETTER THAN SUNDAY
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Not only a new weekend but a brand new month starts Saturday. It'll feel like we jumped ahead to June with sultry humidity and temperatures into the 80s Saturday afternoon. I expect just a few showers or storms Saturday afternoon or early evening. A cold front will slow and out run most of the moisture with it over the mid West this evening.
Sunday is a different story. A new wave of low pressure will form along the front and bring several hours of showers and storms to Western New York from mid morning through late afternoon. If you've got work to do outside this weekend, I'd make it tomorrow rather than Sunday. All this clears out Monday morning followed by clearing skies and good weather early next week.
By the way, April 2010 will rank 4th warmest since the early 1880s for Rochester at an average temperature of 52.4 degrees!
I'm actually surprised there were three other Aprils that were even warmer than this one. But I guess all those chillier episodes during the second half of the month really blew our chances of making the all time record.
ReplyDeleteScott,
I'm going fishing early tomorrow morning out toward Avon. Looks like it will be dry, but will it be chilly out around 7AM?
