Written by: Brian Neudorff

According to Eurocontrol, the intergovernmental body that manages European air travel, about 16,000 flights across Europe were canceled on Saturday. Although the rocky particles of Volcanic ash is dangerous for planes to fly through it can cause some spectacular atmospheric phenomenon.
