TURN OFF THE HOSE ALREADY!

Written By: Scott Hetsko
Even if we don't get another shower the rest of June, we'd still be above the monthly normal for rainfall! Hard to believe but after six straight days of rain, 3.03" has fallen at the Rochester airport. 1.70" of rain early Sunday wasn't even the record!
Another storm will pass just South on Wednesday bringing the risk for more showers into early Thursday. Drier weather late week before more storms and warmer air over the upcoming weekend. Looks like June will end up with 4-5" unless we hit a dry stretch the second half of the month.

  1. Scott,
Do you know of any good websites that update the lake Ontario water levels, and show where they stand compared to average? I'm wondering if all this rain has helped Lake Ontario recover from being over a foot below normal.

  2. NOAA has got a great site for all the Great Lakes

    http://www.glerl.noaa.gov/data/now/wlevels/levels.html

They graph data daily and the trend over recent weeks has been upward.
