WIND DAMAGE FROM STORMS LAST NIGHT

Written By: Scott Hetsko

Last nights weather became severe South of the thruway last night between 7 and 9 in the evening. While most North got some rain, wind gusts between 50 and 60 mph blew through several towns in Livingston, Ontario, Wyoming and Yates counties. The pictures you see are from viewer Nancy Apolito in Honeoye. If you get upset when we break into your favorite show, read on.

Here's her email to the weather department:

Last night's storm warnings for Ontario county resulted in these photos. The dock is my neighbor's -- it was completely turned over and all of the docking sections where lost into the water --- 3 of 4 x 8 ft sections were found floating- beached 5 houses north. The other 2 photos are of a 13 x 10 ft Gazebo structure that was on our front patio. It was literally wrapped around a about 60 feet from it's origin.
Please remind people to take the STORM WARNINGS very seriously. Along with this damage, there are tree limbs down, and many more still hanging high in the trees.
