NEWS 8 WEATHER ON YOUR PHONE!

Okay everyone, we're making our weather forecast even EASIER to find! In fact, we're delivering it directly to your cell phone now! News 8 will be launching a series of awesome new mobile apps, of which the News 8 text forecast and weather alerts are already available. Click here to join, and be the coolest (and most informed person) on your block!

To sign up, click the link above, or head to rochesterhomepage.net, scroll over the "mobile" tab and click on "text alerts". For the forecast delivered every day via text at 7:30AM, be sure to check the "WROC News 8 Forecast". If you want severe weather alerts (which by the way, even us News 8 mets have subscribed for), click the counties you're interested in. It's a bit tricky, but you'll see two areas to click on (All-Ont, Orl-Yat). Click on both to make sure you have all the counties you'd like. This will give you a heads up for severe t-storm warnings as well as big snow.
