HALLOWEEN WEEKEND NOR'EASTER

Written By: Scott Hetsko

It is very rare indeed that a major Big City snowfall occurs in late October or even November but it appears that will be the case Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Low pressure will rapidly deepen tomorrow over Eastern Virginia and track just Southeast of the coastline. This is the perfect track for all snow EVEN in October.

Of course the elevations will collect the most snow with over 12" is likely in the Pocono's Northeast into the Catskill mountains. Even valley cities like Allentown and Scranton are expected to see a significant snowfall. Too far East for our area but don't despair snow lovers, this is preseason winter weather.

  2. No way to tell now if that will be the case. I suspect we'll get in on a few storms here this Winter.
