October Still on Vacation Today
Written by John DiPasquale:
Another GREAT day today! However, our luck is about to run out unfortunately, as some shower activity is on tap for the area tomorrow. Low pressure on the satellite & radar image to the left will be the culprit for delivering some showers Wednesday. It appears the shower activity will be most numerous later tomorrow afternoon into Wednesday night. There will be a decent amount of dry time tomorrow, but you will want to have the umbrella handy. Highs tomorrow, after feeling highs well into the 70s again today, will have a tough time getting out of the low & mid 60s due to cloud cover, a bit of rain & a cool east-southeast breeze.
After a somewhat rainy Wednesday night, we should clear it out some Thursday with limited sun developing & slightly milder temperatures, as highs attempt to climb well into the 60s. So Thursday actually does not look too bad.
A strong cold front will come through Friday with some showers, increasing winds & chilly temperatures. Highs will struggle to reach 60.
The weekend will not start off great with lots of wind, a few scattered showers & unseasonably chilly temperatures Saturday. Highs will average out in the mid 50s, but feel a lot colder with those howling west-northwest winds. Sunday should clear out somewhat & turn a bit milder, but there will be a weak cold front that may trigger a couple of showers to end the weekend. Highs Sunday should be a bit milder in the low 60s, as the air warms a bit in advance of a weak cold front.
I do not see any major outbreaks of cold air in the near future, but mid to late next week may get a bit interesting. Stay tuned. It still a ways out though.
Enjoy the last really nice day of this incredible stretch everyone!
