A Brief Thaw

Written by John DiPasquale:

Well after a mid winter's weekend here in WNY, today will definitely be much milder, & tomorrow will feel like spring again, before the winter chill returns with a little more snow late tomorrow night into Wednesday, & again later Thursday into Thursday night. At this time, I don't anticipate any real significant snows through the week, but again it will turn quite cold with highs in the upper teens to mid 20s Wednesday through Friday, before we warm up some over the weekend.

Have a great a day everyone!

  1. The site is working finally! However our weather still is not. Going to be a quiet boring few weeks of weather. Rain tomorrow that is the worst in the winter.

  2. Rain is just fine. Looking forward to the big warm up. Hopefully forecasts are correct and it lasts into (at least) last week of Jan. That gets us past the traditionally coldest part of winter. So far so good.
Nothing to back this up but I still expect disaster(s) in Feb. Dwc 2006 and Jan 2007 were similar to this year and Feb 2007 was a disaster. Hope I'm wrong.

Scott did say we'd have a 40" month this winter, I'm just agreeing with him. Hope I am wrong.
