A March Feel Blows in for Rest of Week

Written by John DiPasquale:

Another Freeze Warning has been hoisted for the area late tonight through early Thursday, as temps will be down near freezing once again. I believe this will also be a potential issue late Thursday night, Friday night & possibly even Sunday night, as the chilly air mass will slowly moderate by day, but not so much during night/early morning hours. If you have crops, fruit trees &/or plants that are tender get ready to protect.

Highs today have made it into the low to mid 50s, but the temps will fall back into the 40s by day's end & will not get any higher than the low & mid 40s on Thursday with maybe even a passing snow shower/flurry off the lake! Brisk north-northwest winds will blow from late today through the start of Saturday, before relaxing & allowing temperatures to moderate more so for the holiday weekend. We should stay mainly dry with a pretty good deal of sun for much of Friday, & some more over the weekend. Temperatures will struggle mainly in the 40s Thursday & Friday, before making it back into the 50s Saturday & Easter Sunday. Egg hunts will be chilly in the moring over the weekend, but should be nice & dry.

Big trough will likely develop over the northeast for much of next week with unseasonably cold temps & POSSIBLY a little rain & snow at times! Stay tuned.

Have a great day everyone!
