March Feel Develops this Week

Written by John DiPasquale:

Windy & dry today, but we should turn unsettled at times & colder moving forward into Tuesday & Wednesday. A large, fairly strong storm will be providing persistent, chilly winds & a couple of upper air disturbances & surface troughs that will instigate some scattered rain, snow & graupel showers, mainly Tuesday through Wednesday. Highs will only be in the 40s Tuesday through Thursday, with the nastiest day likely being Wednesday with some lake effect precipitation likely mixed in there too.

Thursday we will begin drying out as the storm slowly weakens & pulls away, but there will still be an unseasonable chill.

Friday will be the best day of the week with a good deal of sun & much milder temperatures. Highs by Friday could be up close to 60 after a frosty start! So most of this week will feel & at times look like March, but we should get rewarded come Friday afternoon.

Have a great day & hold onto your hats everyone!
