Big Warm Up on the Way!

Written by John DiPasquale:

Well, the stubborn low clouds are slowly thinning, & will continue to do so this afternoon with some breaks of sun likely developing, as dry air SHOULD win out.

Tonight will be quiet under a clear to partly cloudy sky with areas of fog developing.  Later Wednesday a warm front will push through & possibly trigger a few showers & storms later in the afternoon & evening.  Highs will make the 70s.

Come Thursday & Friday, summer will be here with higher humidity levels, a stiff south-southwest breeze & the risk for a few scattered pop up storms Thursday, but right now Thursday looks mainly dry.  However, Friday will probably entail a better chance of picking up some showers & storms, a few of which could turn nasty as the cold front pictured in the above pic closes in on the area from the northwest.  Behind that cold front, it will turn MUCH cooler over the weekend with highs possibly back into the 50s by Sunday!  Stay tuned for more details on the warm up later this week, & the severe weather potential for Friday.

Have a nice day everyone!
