A Cooler, but Nice Weekend on the Way

Written by John DiPasquale:

Ahh...it will feel refreshingly cool & dry this weekend in the wake of this afternoon's mainly quiet cold front passage.  There may be a couple showers/storm swinging through this afternoon, especially south, but that's about it.  After the strong to severe line of storms last night, the actual frontal passage will be quite uneventful for us here in much of WNY.

High pressure with the cooler, Canadian air mass will provide cool nights, & MAYBE a touch of frost in the coldest spots south of the Thruway early Sunday, but most of us should stay frost free this weekend.  With some sun Saturday & a cool breeze, as depicted in the pic above, highs will range from the upper 50s to mid 60s, while low to mid 60s should be felt with a good deal of sun to wrap up the weekend.  Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 40s tonight & upper 30s to low 40s early Sunday.

Next week will likely turn unsettled later Monday through much of next week.  Stay tuned.

Have a great day & weekend everyone!
