A Little Unsettled Through Thursday
Written by John DiPasquale:
A reinforcing shot of colder air, upper level energy & a pool of cold air aloft will rotate in this afternoon into Thursday. This will not only make it chillier, but a little unsettled at times with a scattering of showers & a couple of storms. Highs on this Wednesday will be well into the 60s, but readings will have a tough time getting out of the 50s Thursday with a gusty, cool wind.
High pressure displayed on the pic above will build in later Thursday night into Friday & set the stage for a nice, albeit still cool & breezy, end to the week & start to Lilac Festival!
Mother's Day weekend is still looking mainly dry, but there will most likely be more in the way of clouds building in during the day Saturday, & probably even more so on mom's day itself. A weakening cold front will slide through later Saturday/early Saturday night with a slight risk for a passing shower/storm or two. Unfortunately, since the front looks as though it's going to possibly stall just to the south & east Saturday night/early Sunday, we will have to keep the risk for a few scattered showers in the forecast to end the weekend, but again much of the weekend should be cooperative for your outdoor plans with mom. Stay tuned to News 8 throughout the rest of the week for any changes to that weekend forecast.
Have a nice day everyone!
