More Warmth & Humidity on the Way

Written by John DiPasquale:

Today will be the most comfortable until Saturday rolls around.  High pressure providing us with some developing sun on this Wednesday afternoon will slide east for Thursday & Friday, which will lead to a stiff south-southwest wind increasing the warmth & humidity for the end of the week.  The very warm & humid air mass will be ushered out late Friday/Friday night by a cold front that will produce some showers & storms, a few of which could become strong to severe.

A cooler more comfy air mass should settle in for late Friday night through Sunday morning, before more heat & humidity try to push in for the end of the holiday weekend.  Much of the weekend at this point looks dry, but there may be a spotty shower/storm or two later Sunday, & then a better chance of a few showers & storms will try to push in ahead of a cold front on Memorial Day.  Highs should be mainly in the 80s over the holiday weekend, so have that pool ready!

Have a great day & stay tuned for updates regarding the upcoming holiday weekend forecast.
