Sultry Weather on the Way

Written by John DiPasquale:

After a warm & muggy start to the week, we will be thrown in the sauna starting Tuesday, & stay in it through Thursday before relief arrives by week's end.

Highs on Tuesday in the wake of an early morning warm front will hit the low to perhaps mid 90s with some sun & a slight risk for a passing storm or two.  On Wednesday, the heat should peak with highs getting into the mid 90s, & feel like readings possibly topping out around 100 after starting the day in the low to mid 70s!  This type of heat & humidity is very dangerous, especially for the very young, elderly & pets.  Please be sure to check on all & keep yourself hydrated & on the lowest floor of the home if you don't have ac during this heat wave.  Thursday will likely hit the low to mid 90s with a storm or two possible late ahead of a cold front that is expected to blow through with a few scattered storms Thursday night, & behind it will feel fantastic for Friday!

Highs by week's end should be in the 70s to around 80, with much lower humidity levels & a refreshing breeze.  Ahh!!!  Right now the weekend looks pretty good & comfy too, with highs in the 70s to around 80, with maybe a couple showers/storm later Sunday.  Stay tuned for updates regarding the weekend through the week.
