Low Humidity = More Comfort!

Written by John DiPasquale:

What a nice day out there to begin the week with plenty of sun, comfortably warm temperatures & low humidity levels.  The clouds will billow up more so later this afternoon, especially south away from Lake Ontario with a slight risk for shower/storm or two possible late in response to an approaching disturbance.  Highs will peak out around 80 today, & will be pretty similar Tuesday under some more sun & a slight risk for a storm or two, as the disturbance slowly moves away.

High pressure will get nice n' cozy across the Northeast for the middle of the week & ultimately keep us mainly dry & pretty sunny through the week, which is great news for all the outdoor activities you may have planned, but we do need some rain.  There has only been a little over a half an inch or so of rain since June 12th!

It will turn more muggy late in the week into the weekend & this will likely lead to a little bit better of a chance of experiencing a few widely scattered pop up showers & storms during the afternoon & evenings.  This does not mean that Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be washouts by any means, but if you have outdoor plans you may have to keep an eye to the sky, but then again it is only Monday, so lots can change between now & then.

  1. Keep the rain away because when it starts it will not stop. Sunny and dry is good for me.
