Temperatures & Humidity Going Up...
Written by John DiPasquale:
The temps will continue to rise, & so too will the humidity starting tomorrow & especially come Friday & the weekend, as a southerly flow will be developing on the backside of high pressure. It will remain mainly dry up through Friday, but the odds of getting a few pop showers & storms will be going up over the weekend, especially Saturday into Saturday night. The weather will remain a bit unsettled at times for the first part of next week, but at this time it appears any pop up shower/storm activity will be limited Sunday through early next week. Also, note, that Saturday does not look like it's going to be a washout at this time, so don't go necessarily canceling your outdoor plans for Saturday, but just have a backup plan or a place you can take cover if need be during your party/event. I know the potential for rain may not be good for your outdoor plans, but we do need the rain. Stay tuned to News 8 for the latest between now & the weekend for updates, as there still is time for the forecast to change for Saturday. Yesterday, it looked like Sunday would feature the greatest chance to get wet, & now, Wednesday afternoon, it looks like Saturday may be the wettest instead of Sunday.
Have a great day & stay cool WNY!
Keep the rain away.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever think about the farmers who need this rain or just about yourself?
DeleteThe long term Palmer index states that we are in a moderate to severe drought as of July 7th. Is that true?
