Rain then Finally Some Snow!

Written by John DiPasquale:

After some pretty good rains will fall late today through Friday morning, which will probably end as wet snow across the high terrain Friday morning with minor accumulations possible.  Most will not see any real accumulating snows until Friday night into Saturday when colder air & wrap around snows combined with some lake effect build in on the backside of newly developed intense storm across Northern New York & New England.  Several inches will likely fall Friday night into Saturday for most, with the least amounts found up near the lake shore due to the warmer lake waters keeping you folks warmer.  The highest snow totals will be found over Wyoming County due to elevation & topographic lift.  Tune into News 8 tonight & Friday for the latest information on snowfall & it's arrival shortly after the official start of the winter season @ 7:11am Friday morning.

Have a great day & hold on to your hats over the next few days everyone!
