A Pretty Nice Last Weekend of April on Tap

Written by John DiPasquale:

A cool Friday will be followed by a milder last weekend April with some sun both Saturday & Sunday with highs in the 60s, but cooler 40s & 50s will likely be found near the big lake due to a lake breeze likely to set up, especially Saturday.  The forecast map depicted above showcases the area of high pressure over us today sliding east over the weekend & luckily for us it should remain pretty close into much of next week.  This will likely result in mainly dry weather for the majority of the week, as we round out April & begin May next week!  At this time, it appears moisture will increase over us somewhat later Sunday into Monday with more clouds developing & a few showers possible too during this time frame.

Much of Tuesday through Thursday as of now look dry & mild within a few degrees of 70.  It may turn kind of nasty to end next week & into the first weekend of May, but that's still a week out, so a lot can change between now & then & probably will.  So stay tuned for updates.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. John, I appreciate good writing skills, and want to thank you for doing a good job summarizing our forecast. It was clear and easy to understand; and that's a relief for someone with a nagging Attention Deficit.
