Fine Weather This Week

Written by: Stacey Pensgen

Mild Spring weather seemed to take a while to make it to WNY, but we should be in for a stretch of fine weather heading into this last week of April/first week of May. An omega block setting up keeps ridging over the Northeast and the trough over the nation's mid-section. That means above average temperatures and dry weather for us through most of this week. Monday will be a little showery and cloudy, but the block really starts setting up by mid-week. Hopefully the lilacs are loving this weather, too, and will be ready to go for the Lilac Festival in just a week and a half!

  1. Rochester deserves this next 7-10 days of sun, warm and dry. Soon we will be saying we need rain. I love spring.
