Warmest Air of the Season On the Way!?

Written by John DiPasquale:

After a little cool down to more seasonable levels for Wednesday with some sun, a big storm will wind up to the west across the Central Great Lakes & blow some unseasonably warm air into the area to finish out the week!  The warm front should get pulled through here sometime Thursday morning with a few showers & storms possible late Wednesday night into the start of Thursday.  Behind the warm front it will turn windy & warm with highs likely shooting up well into the 70s, & with enough sun possibly low 80s later Thursday afternoon!  The warm air will stick around into Friday before a cold front blast through late Friday/early Friday night with some showers & storms to later Friday afternoon & evening, a few of which could get nasty.  Stay tuned.  A much colder air mass with wind will follow for later Friday night into the start of the weekend, but it will slowly moderate some to end the weekend & start next week with some sun expected to boot.

Have a great day WNY!

  1. Well it looks like the last 10 days have put us slightly above normal for daytime highs, whereas the previous 6 were substantially below normal. Lets hope the trend for warmer will continue after it's brief break this weekend.
