Cooler Pattern Settling Back In

Written by John DiPasquale:

At or slightly above average temperatures will be with us through Tuesday with a spotty shower/storm possible this afternoon & evening, especially south.  A few more showers & storms are possible Tuesday, with the best chance of getting rain occurring south & east of Rochester in the Finger Lakes.

Tuesday night a cold front will aggressively swing through & in it's wake it will be windy & cool for Wednesday with highs only in the low 70s, despite some sun.  On Thursday, there will be a good deal of sun, but it will remain kind of cool for this time of year with highs in the low to mid 70s.  Come Friday a bit of a southerly flow in advance of a weakening cold front should get us back up into the low 80s with a shower/storm possible late.

The early outlook for the weekend appears to possibly be a little unsettled, but a good amount of dry time should exist with highs hovering close to 80, before it probably cools more significantly again early to mid next week.  Stay tuned.
