Warming Back Up to More Seasonable Levels for Weekend

Written by John DiPasquale:

Everybody enjoying the taste of Autumn!?  60s for highs Wednesday with a gusty cool breeze & some lake effect clouds.  Then the lows within a few degrees 50 early this Thursday morning with a few waterspouts spotted over the big lake due to the colder air over the warmer waters of Lake Ontario & just enough moisture in the air & shifting in the winds in the lower levels to allow these to spin up.  The sky will become mostly sunny Thursday afternoon as drier air wins out, as highs climb into the mid 70s, which is considered perfect by most!  Enjoy!

After another cool/chilly night ahead for our Thursday night with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s, the record for Friday morning is 47, we will recover nicely during the day Friday with plenty of sun, as highs warm to near 80 & low humidity levels.

High pressure controlling the weather today & Friday will then give way to a slow moving cold front that will generate some clouds & a few showers & storms later Saturday into at least the start of Sunday.  I expect there to be a lot of dry time over the weekend, but have the umbrella handy for the second half of Saturday through midday Sunday anyways, as it will likely be a little unsettled at times.  If you have outdoor plans, though, don't go canceling them, just keep an eye to the sky.  Highs over the weekend will be within a few degrees of 80 with more humidity around, especially Saturday.

Have a great day & enjoy the sweet weather around here through Friday!
