NOT MUCH SNOW ON THE GROUND

Our regions snowpack has just about gone away! Just compare the end of January with the end of this month and you can see quite a difference. Now only pockets of 3-6" snow depth can be found East and Southwest of Rochester in the old lake effect belts. One month ago, the entire area had between 10-20" of snow on the ground thanks to a very cold month of January. A mid february thaw has done the job in melting most of our snow. In the days ahead don't expect much new snow so we'll be green for awhile!
