SUMMERTIME SHOWERS, STORMS LATE WEEK
Written By: Scott Hetsko
We have enjoyed a fine Wednesday thanks in large part to a small ridge of high pressure. High pressure means sinking air and thus sunshine generally speaking. As this high drifts off the coast tonight, more moist air will return Thursday and Friday.
Added moisture along with some weak disturbances will add up to scattered showers and storms especially in the afternoon both days. Towns South of the thruway have the highest risk on Thursday, more widespread showers and storms are here Friday afternoon.
There is a shocker. More rain!!!!!!!!!!! Scott this is getting so old already. Are we ever going to get a week without rain?????? The summer is coming to a close. Watch, when winter comes we will not get any storms.
ReplyDeletei know right!!!!!! but i think they said June and July dry and august wet!
ReplyDeleteScott,
ReplyDeleteDo you think God / Religion has a place in Science?
I prefer not to touch that subject too much except to say that some religions seem to contradict science. I don't want to get into a religious discussion here as it's not the place and I don't want to offend people.

best best best????? I don't get it
ReplyDeleteSince God created Science, the universe, the world and everythng in it, then he needs to be a part of it all. Who are we to tell the creator he cannot be a part of something. We have already taken him out of schools and other parts of society. This is why America is in the mess it is in. I love it. When something bad happens we blame God. WHat is he supposed to do when we tell him we do not want him here. This country was founded on Christain values and morals and we have turned away from it. What do we expect.
