A Nice Last Day of Spring
Written by John DiPasquale:
Another nice June day here in WNY! Boy did we need a stretch like we are seeing this month after the last couple months prior to this month.
High pressure will keep most of us protected from any rain today to begin the week, except a passing shower/sprinkle is possible near the Dansville to Penn Yan line.
Beyond tonight, the chances of getting wet will increase a little tomorrow & a bit more on Wednesday. However, I still believe there will be a good amount of dry time both Tuesday & Wednesday. Temperatures will warm to between 80 & 85 with somewhat higher levels of humidity.
Wednesday night into Thursday a warm front will move through with more numerous showers & storms & even muggier air will build in for Thursday & Friday. After some additional shower & t-storm activity Friday with a cold front, we will turn mainly dry & much more pleasant this weekend. Hopefully this weekend outlook holds, not only for all of WNY, but LPGA too, which kicks off this Thursday.
By the way, Summer officially begins at 1:16PM tomorrow afternoon.
Have a great day everyone!
