WONDERFUL WEATHER THIS WEEKEND

Written By: Scott Hetsko

I haven't been writing much lately for two reasons. John has been doing a great job with his daily updates and more importantly...there's NOTHING to talk about! Quiet weather will continue to be in the region through the next 7-10 days. As a matter of fact, I expect most of July and August to remain on the sunny and dry side.

I'm not complaining, we'll have enough to chat about come November through April. Enjoy the great weekend of weather around beautiful Western New York!

  1. 1.50" of rain since MAY 28TH!!! leaves are wilting on the trees. Peoples lawns look like New Mexico. We need a soaking rain around these parts.

  3. Ya, it's looking pretty arid at my house too. I'd enjoy a summer rain!

  4. We do need rain. My neighborhood in Gananda is a sea of brown. It is amazing the turnarond from the spring. We went from very wet to very dry.

  5. Is any of that nasty weather out in the Chicago, South Bend, Detroit area this morning, heading our way? I hear those storms are doing lots of damage.

  6. We could use some rain, but I do not see any significant, steady rains for us here in WNY in the foreseeable future. The storms across the Central Lakes this morning should fall apart for the most part by the time they reach us, as they move away from the prefrontal trough & cold front. There could be a storm or two later this afternoon or into tonight, but again I do not expect the showers/storms to be widespread. Enjoy the nice summery weather in the meantime!
