Another Beauty Today!
Written by John DiPasquale:
Happy Friday everyone! Mother nature is making everyone happy with this weather. Expect high pressure anchored nearby to provide a great looking & feeling Friday here in WNY. There's a very, very slight risk for a pop up shower/storm late, but most, if not all, will stay dry through today. Highs will be up around 80.
Tonight should remain quiet with a partly cloudy sky & temperatures not as cool as the last couple of nights. We will bottom out in the upper 50s to around 60, which is where the average low sits this time of year.
The weekend doesn't look too bad, but will likely feature a few widely scattered showers & storms popping up later in the day tomorrow in response to a slowly approaching upper level trough & developing surface storm to the south & west. We will hold onto the threat of a few scattered showers/storm tomorrow night, & then the shower activity should become more widespread Sunday as the storm gets a little stronger & closer. At this point, there should be a good amount of dry time Saturday, & not as much but some rain free time Sunday. Highs tomorrow will be in the low 80s, & due to more clouds & more shower activity around Sunday temperatures will likely not get any higher than the mid to perhaps upper 70s. Humidity levels will also increase this weekend.
The nice weather that looked like it might get in here later Monday, now appears to be holding off until later Tuesday thanks to the weekend system taking it's sweet time getting through the northeast. Come Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday, though, the weather should turn gorgeous. Temperatures will warm out of the 70s to start the week, but should recover back into the lower 80s anyways by the middle of next week. Stay tuned to News 8 for the latest forecast.
Have a great weekend all!
Wow. This blog hs not been updated since Friday. Not good. It looks like we have revereted back to spring when it was so wet. I think summer is over. Ealry fall and winter coming in my humble opinion. You can feel it in the air. It is nice to see lush gren grass again. I have to fo a lot of replainting.
