Nice N' Comfortable Today!

Written by John DiPasquale:

The weather continues to get progressively better & will be basically perfect today. After Tuesday's soaking, yesterday was better, but today will be fantastic with sun, a refreshing gusty, west-northwest breeze and highs reaching the mid 70s. Get out & enjoy if you can!

High pressure providing us with the awesome weather today will keep us mainly protected tomorrow with some more sun & seasonable temperatures. There's a slight risk of a pop up shower/storm late Friday, but most will stay dry through tomorrow.

The weekend still looks ok with just a few scattered afternoon & evening showers & storms popping up Saturday ahead of a developing surface storm & an upper level trough. Saturday will be warm & muggy with highs in the low 80s. The storm system & trough will move into the region later Saturday night & Sunday which should lead to a damp, breezy & cool tail end to the weekend. Highs on Sunday will likely range from 70 to 75.

Unfortunately, the storm will take it's sweet time exiting the northeast & because of this it MAY stay kind of gray for much of Monday with a couple lingering showers & patchy drizzle. I am hopeful for some sun by late in the day Monday, but we will have to wait & see how it plays out over the next few days. Much better weather will then work in for Tuesday & Wednesday. Stay tuned to News 8 for the latest regarding the updated weekend forecast & beyond.

Have a great day & enjoy the nice comfy air!

  1. I think summer is over. We are back into a cool and wet patter again just like we started in spring. Early fall and winter coming??????
