Tropical Storm Katia

Tropical Storm Katia formed in the eastern Atlantic just west of the Cape Verde Islands early Tuesday morning. She is expected to become a hurricane by Thursday, and possibly a major hurricane by the weekend.

She is still well away from the U.S. and her exact path remains to be seen, but the U.S. may potentially feel the impacts from another hurricane come next week. We'll keep an eye on Katia, and keep you updated!
