Nicest Day of the Week Today!
Written by John DiPasquale:
Not too shabby on this Friday! It will definitely be a brighter day than yesterday for most & milder too here in WNY! Definitely a nice change compared to what we have been experiencing much of this week.
A weakening backdoor cool front will likely sneak through late today/early tonight. Don't expect much, if any significant weather to accompany it when it passes other than a slight wind shift. There is a slight risk for a pop up shower or two this afternoon & evening, but most of us will not see it. Highs today will be seasonably mild in the low to mid 70s.
Tonight will be uneventful weatherwise, but there should be some more fog developing late. High pressure will build in from the north behind the weak cool front later tonight into Saturday, which will set us up for nice Saturday! There's a very slight risk for shower/storm later tomorrow south of the thruway, but again most of us will be dry through the start of the weekend. Come Sunday, as high pressure slides to the east a southerly flow will develop increasing the clouds & possibly leading a couple of scattered showers later in the day to end the weekend. Overall, though, the weekend is looking mainly dry with pleasant, seasonable temperatures. Get out & enjoy everyone, if you can!
