Steamy Start To August!

An extended period of summer heat and humidity will arrive in Rochester starting Wednesday. The reason is pictured to the right. High pressure upstairs in the atmosphere will park itself to our South. The clockwise flow of air around that high will feed a steady diet of hot air into Western New York. Expect temperatures to soar into the low and mid 90's on Thursday before a weak cool front visits on Friday. Behind the front our air will still remain at or above normal.
