Widespread Snowfall for Western New York

A storm moving in from the south will provide for a messy Thursday. Snow will fall heavily at times during the midday and afternoon, especially south of Monroe County. Though we'll pick up 2"-5" of snow by day's end, with higher amounts south, this will be a quick-mover. Snow should generally be out of here by this evening.
Snow is starting to fall in downtown Rochester. The roads are now covered outside my office. Any other reports on conditions?

It almost a white out here, about 4-5 inches here in Lima. The roads don't look to nice, and cars are going very slow. Be careful if going out everyone

ReplyDeleteWebster has slick, snow covered dangerous roads. We have gotten about 3-4 inches of snow.

Dont know where else to ask this -- But why does it seem that daylight is lasting so long into the afternoon hours this year? My experience years past has been pitch black darkness by 5 pm in early December..

ReplyDeleteWe live here in Brunswick Ga.Our kids and grandkids are still up in Victor,they keep us posted on all the events of the winter storms.I really miss the snow,but We do enjoy sitting down on the beach seeing as how it is 80 degrees here,and we don't have to shovel.
