YOU CAN'T BEAT A FRESH SNOWFALL!
Written by: Scott Hetsko
It's a marshmallow world in Western New York as the area received a fresh blanket of snow Tuesday into Wednesday. Please compare the forecast map from Monday night to the actual snowfall reports. As you can see, our forecast was pretty much dead on except for lesser amounts than expected in Northern Wayne County. Considering how difficult forecasting snow is, we're happy with what fell! To see a list of actual snow reports from observers all over the area, please click here!
No more snowstorms in our forecast but very cold weather will stick around all day Thursday! Temperatures will remain about 20 degrees below average for the daytime high. Wind chill values will reside in the single digits all day. Don't forget to wear your hat if you're outside longer than a few minutes.
Bravo Scott! Holding your self-accountable; great forecasting...I love it.
