DRYING OUT TO START THE WEEK
Written by: Brian Neudorff
We will still have a cool westerly wind for Monday. This could spark a few isolated sprinkles or showers across western New York, but the atmosphere is trying to dry out as an area of high pressure begins to build east out of the Midwest. Overnight the air should dry out and put a stop to those pesky lake effect rain showers and even clear the skies.
With high pressure influencing our weather, Tuesday looks to be mainly dry and partly sunny. Unfortunately, this break will short lived as a new storm system moves out of the Midwest and Great Lakes and brings some rain and what looks like another windy day. Once again we could be talking about wind advisories on Wednesday. We will have to wait and see.
