FLIP A COIN TO GUESS SNOWFALL THIS WINTER

You may have heard that we're about to enter a "EL NINO" driven Winter here in North America. Speaking purely on statistics, our chances of having a bunch or little snow here in Rochester is about 50/50 in El Nino years. There have been 9 such winters since 1970. 5 winters recorded an average of 65.2" while the other 4 winters averaged 112.8"! Now those are major differences and tell us that forecasting long term weather involved much more than just one factor.
