IDA HOURS FROM HITTING THE GULF
Written By: Scott Hetsko
What used to be a Category Two storm is now much weaker as IDA approaches the Gulf Coast this evening. So while Hurricane force winds won't be big problem, flooding rain and waves will cause problems for people along the Mississippi and Florida coasts. This storm will have a hard time moving further North thanks to strong high pressure over the mid Atlantic states. We may be watching some form of this storm for over a week as we wait and see what IDA does after slamming the coast later tonight.
