MORE INTERESTING SNOW FACTS
Written By: Scott Hetsko
Piggybacking on Brian's blog about the lack of snow around here lately, consider the above statistics. Going back almost 70 years, there have been 12 November's with less than 2" of snow. Since 1990, the following Winter produced an average of 98.4" of snow. Going back further to 1940, the ensuing Winter saw an average of only 80" of snow.
We are predicting an average to slightly above average snow season this Winter (90 to 120") in Monroe County. Only time will tell!
